Evaluation Types

Author: admin Edit This

Transcript Research offers two types of international credentials evaluations:

  • Basic/General Evaluation
  • $80

The Basic Evaluation includes a synopsis of each educational credit and its U.S. equivalency. It includes a Grade Point Average (G.P.A.) and identification of the recognition of post-secondary institutions if applicable. Transcript Research does not do a course-by-course evaluation for secondary (high school) studies.

The Basic Evaluation is most commonly used for immigration purposes and some employment, but it is also used for college/university admissions for those who do not have post-secondary studies.

  • Detailed/Course-by-Course Evaluation
  • $150

The Detailed Evaluation includes a synopsis of each educational credit and its U.S. equivalency. It includes a Grade Point Average (G.P.A.) and identification of the recognition of post-secondary institutions if applicable. In addition, it includes a list of courses taken at the post-secondary level from each institution attended, along with indigenous grades, recommended U.S. equivalent grades, and recommended U.S. credit hours for each course.  Transcript Research does not do a course-by-course evaluation for secondary (high school) studies.

The Detailed Evaluation is most commonly used for further education, some employment, and teacher certification.
